Sony BDP-S370- DivX/XviD avi files stutter, MKV files work great

Hi,

I just purchased Mezzmo 2.1.13 after the trial period because I love how it handles my MKV, mp4, m4v files on my Sony BDP-S370 player.

Unfortunately- my lower quality HDTV DivX/Xvid files stutter. I'm assuming from transcoding.

Is it supposed to do this? Can the Sony player handle DivX/XviD natively?

Would love to not have to encode/transcode those files prior to watching through Mezzmo.

Additional info: The Sony player is wired through Western Digital Livewire and the connection is 54Mbps.

My computer is a P4 3.20GHz with Hyper-Threading. 4MB of RAM.

Can you please try the Sony BDP Pal profile and see if the Divx files play at all. If they don't you have to use a no Divx profile where we transcode these files. We will be implementing a feature where you can pre-transcode files for different devices in the future.
