When the stuttering starts to take place, what does Windows Task Manager report? Is your computer running at high
hack xbox 360 or high memory? It may be that the transcoding is not able to process quick enough to deliver the data to the Xbox for smooth streaming - i.e. the
PS3 Jailbreak is getting starved of video/audio data and is always waiting for some more, hence the stuttering.
One thing to try - after the video has fully played once, then it will be fully transcoded and will not need to be transcoded again. If you play it the next time, the transcoded file will be streamed directly to your
hack wifi. Does it stutter in this case?
When a file is transcoding on-the-fly, FF/REW is not possible since you may be trying to FF to a part of the video that has not yet been transcoded. Once the video has been fully transcoded, then the next time you play it, you should be able to FF/REW.
Mezzmo can stream external subtitle files (.SRT/.SUB) to DLNA devices, but unfortunately the Xbox does not support playing external subtitle files. We are midway in development of our new subtitle engine and it will support transcoding & burning subtitles into videos so that devices that do not support external subtitles like the Xbox can play videos with subtitles. We do not have a firm release date as yet. It will be a free upgrade for all registered users.
