Thread: Categorising movies

    Default Categorising movies

I have a small but growing pile of movie files and am just reaching the point where it makes sense to categorise them. Is there a preferred option for getting meta data onto the files similar to the services that exist when ripping CDs (e.g. similar to the track ID systems) that would help me categorise my collection? I've looked at some products but not found anything yet that will get the metadata in a form where something like Mezzmo could use it.

    Any help appreciated

Apologies for the dopy question - I've now spotted the function in Mezzmo that should do this. I can't get it working though so will perservere for a while!

If your files contain metadata, then Mezzmo should be able to import that metadata.

Also, do you know why you've posted 20 times the same message? I've removed all duplicates from this thread.

Whoops - sorry Dennis - I spotted 3 postings & deleted them. I certainly didn't press "post" 20 times but I guess firefox was having a bad day.
