Default Erroneous command in FTP handshake

    Hello,

it appears that DownloadStudio is sending a "CWD /" command without any reason to. On FTP servers where access is granted to a certain folder only and navigation is disabled, this command causes the download to fail, as shown below:

Please let me know if you need further info.

I think I've been able to reproduce it, the problem is occurring because DownloadStudio is stepping through the path to the file one directory at a time, if the file is in '/home/temp/file.zip' and permission is only for 'temp' then the navigation will fail when CWD / or CWD /home is issued. I've got it working on the ftp server I setup here by changing DownloadStudio to navigate the entire path in one step.

I have sent you a message with the link to the new file containing this change, could you please try it and see if it fixes the problem? If you did not get the email please send an email to support@conceiva.com with the subject 'DownloadStudio FTP fix' and I'll send you the file.
