Profile Request for Samsung Galaxy S

Hi,
I've been using Mezzmo for about 6 months now with my Sony TV and I'm very happy.

Just got a new Android Galaxy S with Allshare installed and I have been able to play avi files without transcoding using the Samsung Captivate profile in Mezzmo. But mov and mp4 etc are not compatible.

If I turn on transcoding for the device, then it cannot play the avi files.

Would really appreciate a full profile for the Galaxy S, thanks.

If Allshare lets you use an external video player, try using Moboplayer as your video player. On my Xoom tablet I use PlugPlayer (DLNA client) with Moboplayer (video player) and the new Motorola Xoom profile, I can play a lot of files without requiring transcoding. Moboplayer is actually based on ffmpeg, so as long your phone/tablet has the required CPU muscle, you should be good.
