Default Why two media servers ?

    Hi,

I've installed Mezzmo on a new PC and find that other devices (Sony TV and Windows Media Player) see two instances of the server.

Both seem identical and provide access to the same set of pictures and music.

This is not a show stopper - but would prefer just one media server created by Mezzmo on one PC.

    Any ideas anyone ??

    Thanks,

    Hi,

This is because you have two network connections. Go to Media Devices dialog, edit your device and select one of the network cards - that'll make only copy of the server appear on that device.

Had the same problem but only have one NIC in my server. I found out that when you assign 2 IP addresses to the same NIC (yes, it's possible), Mezzmo discover this as two network cards.
I removedthe additional IP address and it's back to one again.
