    Default HTC Thunderbolt

Is there an existing device profile that can be used for the Thunderbolt? If not, how the best way to go about making one? I copied the one for the droid x, renamed it, went into the profile and changed the name and screen resolution - but does anything else need to be changed?

Also - should the video start streaming and playing before the transcoding has completed?

Lastly, any suggestions for good players on the droid side?

    Thanks

There is no profile for it, but either the DroidX or Motorola Xoom could be good starting points. Do you know what formats the phone supports? If it only supports MP4 (h263/h264/3gp/etc...) videos, then transcoded videos will need to finish transcoding before they can be stream. If the phone supports some other video formats, then they most probably can be streamed in real-time.
