Red face Transcoding settings by file type.

Hi I would like to have an option to transcode movie files by file type.
My reason behind this is that when I wish to watch HD files or .mkv files I need to turn transcoding on, however when i watch normal avi's i have to turn transcoding off because they wont play properly or not at all.

    Many thanks,

    Johnisburt

Thank you for the suggestion. A future version of Mezzmo will allow you to individually pre-transcode files and we'll consider adding pre-transcoding based on file type as well. At the moment you can modify the device profile to include AVIs as a supported type and they shouldn't be transcode then. What device and device profile are you using?

Just an update - Mezzmo v2.5 has been released and it includes the 'pre-transcoding' features that have been discussed in this thread.
