Thread: stuttering on Samsung UA32D5000PRMXL

    Default stuttering on Samsung UA32D5000PRMXL

I recently got a samsung ua32d5000prmxl and I have hooked it up to my windows 7 ultimate 64 bit PC which has a sandy bridge core i5 2500 CPU with 4 gb RAM and plenty of hard disk space to spare. It is connected to the TV using a Gigabit ethernet port of Netgear DG834G router.
Mezzmo runs fine on the TV and all subtitles are streamed but when the file size is big , say above 4 GB ( MKV ) , it stutters every 10-15 seconds or so. When the same file is run from a USB disk on my tv, it plays fine. Profile selected is Samsung D series but i tried changing it to Samsung BD player with no benefit.
What do you think could be the problem?

Can you please post FFmpeg information on one of those files (in Mezzmo right-click on the file and use the "Get FFmpeg Information" command)?

Also, please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then try playing one of those files and once it starts to stutter, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll take a look.

That file should be passed through natively.

The TV is connected to the router via a cable as well, not wireless, right? If it's wireless, then that is probably the problem. If it's wired, then it's possibly something with the file itself - would it be possible for you to send us one of those files (through a site like www.megaupload.com for example), so that we could try it here?

the tv is connected through a wire and the router has a gigabit ethernet port so bandwidth is not a problem. The file size is in excess of 6gb so can't very well upload the same.

I agree, if it's all wired up then bandwidth is not the issue here.

Can you please send in your logs - possibly they will show something.

Was the problem resolved through support in the previous versions? Can you please send in logs using the latest Mezzmo version (2.4.2) and we'll see what's wrong. There are some patches available that may help you.
