Default FLAC transcoding to Sony BDP-480 - slow to start

I'm trying out a few DLNA servers. Mezzmo sounds as it if it will do all I need but the main requirement is to be able to transcode FLAC to play on on my Sony. It does work as LPCM but it's slow to start playing - too slow in fact. I have Asset uPnP on the same box and that does the same job with no delay at all. Is there anything I can do to speed up Mezzmo?

    Thanks

Many thanks. We'll test Mezzmo here with a similar file streaming to our Sony BDP. We'll respond after we have some results/fixes for you.

    Thanks.

The first file I tried was a movement of a symphony so I thought perhaps that size was an issue. The example file was somewhat smaller.
