    Cool Pre-transcoding Version of Mezzmo

    Good Day,

so I have been reading on this forum about an upcoming pre-transcoding version of Mezzmo - wondering if you have an ETA or which version of Mezzmo is targeted?

    thanks

Yeah it's taking a long time, I want to stream subtitles to my PS3. Please give us ETA, and please make it sooner than later

Gives these guys some time please, they have done a wonderful job so far.
Don't let them rush anything giving us something that is not really working!
I rather wait abit longer and have something completely finished and working perfectly.

It's coming There's going to be a minor update to Mezzmo very soon and after that, I hope, the next one will have pre-transcoding.

Oh crikey, will this help with files that are too big for the server to transcode on the fly as well? Excellent news if so!

Yes, this is exactly its purpose - to transcode files that are too slow for real-time playback. Also, it'll help for those with devices that don't allow FF/REW during transcoding.
