Default Some WTV files not playing correctly

Hi. I'm trialling mezzmo specifically to stream WTV files from WMC recorded TV in a win7 computer with homerunHD tv tuner to an xbox. I have a number of recorded files but some work fine whereas others do not and stop after a short period. One of the files has continual break-up & sync problems just to further confuse the issue. All files in question play fine on the PC with WMC. I'm using a powerline network adaptor however files converted to AVI have no issue at all so I don't think it's a network issue but perhaps a problem with ffmpeg and encoding. Any advice please? Thanks. Attached is the log from one file which stops after a couple of minutes - always in the same place.

Thanks for the information and the logs. You may be right and it may be a problem with encoding that file. Unfortunately your logs do not show it being transcoded, since it already has been previously, so I cannot see the actual transcoding process.

Can you please delete transcoded files and try again and send in new logs (send them to support (at) conceiva (dot) com please) or (even better), if you could send us that file (through a service like www.megaupload.com), we could test it here and work out exactly what's going wrong.

I have the exact same problem. I am surprised it has not been reported earlier. Please advise.

Can you please send in the logs as well? If the file is already transcoded, please delete transcoded files (or just that transcoded file) and play it with logging, so that we could see the actual transcoding. If possible, it would also be great if we could get the file here as well.

I'm pretty sure it's a ffmpeg issue with "large" WTV files due to the way WTV fragments the file info - i.e. greater than 600mb is a problem.

FFmpeg's handling of WTV files is still not perfect of course, but we do test new builds of FFmpeg on more-or-less weekly basis and that's why if we have a file that doesn't currently transcode, we can check it periodically against FFmpeg to see when their developers fix it.
