It's possible that this is a file access issue. Mezzmo GUI and Mezzmo server have different permission levels, so while the GUI can always access your files, the server may not have enough privileges on your network.
Are the "guest accounts" turned on or off on the NAS? If they're off, please turn them on and try again. Also, if often helps to create a same account name/password as your Windows logon (and the one you used to register Mezzmo server) and give that account full permissions on the NAS.
If you did both of the above and it still fails, then please turn on logging (see this thread:
http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging), then try to play one of the failing files and once it fails, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com for further investigation.
