    Hi again,
I tried the converted mp4-file from MCEBuddy, and the Samsung TV now gives an error "Not supported Video codec".
I don't think I have a "Media Devices dialog". Not in the Menu-system. Where shall I find it?
I have send a zipped log-file to the email.
    Thanks for helping out :-)
By the way, now the TV reboots every time I try to play a wtv-file? Maybe I have touch something in Mezzmo?

    Kind Regards,
    Klaus

The Media Devices is a button on the toolbar in Mezzmo and it's also available through the Media Server -> Media Devices menu.

I'll get back to you regarding the logs via e-mail.

The "Samsung D" device profile is selected.

The MCEBuddy sounded like a good idea, but it takes a very long time to convert the files into another format. I takes about 24 hours to convert a 1 hour wtv-file to mp4!

I haven't used MCEBuddy, but that does sound like way too long. If it has various settings, perhaps they are set to very high quality?

Hi there - I am having the exact same problem with the playback of wtv files. In fact its even more odd as most are successfully transcoded but odd ones are not and the error on the TV is "unsupported format".

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

    Thanks in advance.

WTV files should be transcoded just fine using the current Mezzmo version (2.4.5), but yes, some will fail because of various issues in FFmpeg. Can you please send a sample of such a file to us (through www.megaupload.com, for example), so that we could test it here? Also, which device profile are you using and device do you have?

Thanks for the FFmpeg info. If it fails to transcode or doesn't look right, I'll need to see transcoding logs. Please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then delete transcoded files and try playing it again. Once it fails, stop the server and send in the logs to support. Alternatively, if you can send the video file in, we can test it here.
