Default mezzmo 2.4.0 won't allow hibernation

since the update there seems to be a new service named "desktop" and every time i try to shut off my pc into hibernation mode win xp displays a message that it can't shut down because of this service. i have to manually shut down the service to set my pc into hibernation mode.

Mezzmo does not install a service "desktop" (unless you called your Mezzmo server "desktop") - it only installs its own "Mezzmo". If you go to the Services manager and right-click on that service to view it's properties, what is the location it points to?

EDIT: We've just reproduced this problem and it'll be fixed in 2.4.1. If you'd like a patch, please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com

great, i'll wait for your official patch. stopping the server and then go to hibernation also works until then.

The patch is already available, or do you mean an official update?
