Thread: Samsung PN58C700 No Longer Utilizing Subtitles (.srt files)

Default Samsung PN58C700 No Longer Utilizing Subtitles (.srt files)

With the last update to version 2.4.2.0 videos I am playing through Mezzmo are no longer recognizing and playing any subtitle files that are located within the same directory as the video file. The subtitles have the exact same name as the video file, but with a .srt extension instead of .mkv or whatever video format it is. It used to work perfectly fine before this update but it no longer does.

If you need more information please let me know and I will provide it.

    Thanks

Did you run Maintenance after updating? If you haven't please do that and subtitles should start working.

Yea that fixed it. Maybe it should run automatically after opening it for the first time after an update? Seems necessary and it only takes a few seconds.

I'm glad it worked. Thanks for the suggestion - we'll consider adding that in!
