Default How to play .srt files on Sony Bravia KDL-NX720

Does the newest version support to play .srt or .smi files on Sony Bravia KDL-NX720 series?

    Thank you.

If the TV supports external subtitles, then they should be delivered to it using the latest version. If the TV does not support external subtitles, then the current version does not yet have the ability to burn the subtitles onto the video.

I have a Sony kdl-ex720, it does support external subtitles and I have subtitles using PS3 media server, but unfortunately Mezzmo does not support external subtitles on the TV.

Are you sure that the PS3MS is not encoding the subtitles for the TV?

If so, can you please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then try play a file that has external subtitles using Mezzmo (just for a couple of seconds - when subtitles should start appearing), after that stop the server and send in the logs.
