Thread: changing file location

    Default changing file location

My data of my Mezzmo video files reside on an NAS server. no problem.
The other day I have changed the name of the NAS server and Mezzmo can't find the files anymore (understandable).
My question is now: is there a way to change the file location in the Mezzmo Library or do I have to delete all library items and create them again manually in Mezzmo?
ps. I have replaced all names with an editor in mezzmo.db but afterwards Mezzmo crached.
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You cannot open/edit the database using a text/binary editor, you need a tool that reads SQLite databases, such as SQLite Browser or something similar.

The easiest (safest) way is to re-create the library from scratch. Alternatively, if you know SQL, you could replace the NAS name using a tool mentioned above.

I have downloaded and ran ""SQLite Database Browser" as you suggested; changed all old entries to the new entries and all works fine now.
Very good choice of Conceiva to use an SQL database for Mezzmo.
You have let me know another very good "Open Source" product.
    Very much appreciated.
