    Unhappy Time to say goodbye

    Hi chaps,
First of all, I believe this is honest feedback,it's not a troll.I have paid for Mezzmo, and have been using it for the past year or so.I also have the likes of PS3MS, Serviio, TVersity-you name it, I'm a DLNA junkie ;-)
But I'm giving up on Mezzmo-why? Well, as hard as I try, file formats that dont get transcoded by others, always seem to be transcoded by Mezzmo. It's becoming a pain to see the util on my server shoot up to 100%,and see ffmpeg as the culprit, and yet when I use another (looks like I am going to move to TVMobili), it doesn't happen.Frankly, I'm tired of having to change profiles to suit, when others just "work". It came to a head this week when my kids kept on complaining about freezing and blocking-I know my home network is ok (fully CAT5 wired) and other servers cope fine.
Plus, and I have raised this on here, support for the iPad2 seems to be hit and miss-sometimes it works, sometimes its doesn't. And there is nothing worse than if I want to grab a file, for watching later, and it doesn't work, at 6am in the morning!

I will come back and have a look in months to come, but I need hassle free, and Mezzmo doesn't give me that, at the moment.Good luck but I'm out for the time being

    cheers

Sorry about your negative experience with Mezzmo. We'd really like to get things fixed in Mezzmo for the future though, so can you please tell me which device this is on, which device profile you are using and send FFmpeg information on some of the files that Mezzmo transcodes, but which are passed through natively using other servers? We extend our device profiles all the time, so I'm sure that we should be able to solve this and get you back up and using Mezzmo in no time.
