Default Push streaming audio to my Marantz M-CR603

    Hello Support,

I love the programm very much but I miss the option to push audio to my marantz player. i should be possible to right click an album or individual audio file and choose an output device like my marantz player or an arcam slolo neo player or whatever audio stream player. I run mezzmo on Windows vista.

    Hello Dennis,

Can you give me an idea when we can expect this new feature. Will it be in the coming weeks or months?

    Best regards,
    Hans

    Hello Hans,

In the next few weeks we're releasing a version with pre-transcoding, so all efforts are concentrated there. I'd say a few months, unfortunately.

We have not developed the push feature as yet, since we've been very busy on the upcoming release that includes pre-transcoding. This upcoming release is late, so that has pushed out other development features such as pushing content to DLNA devices. Sorry for the delay.

Still waiting for the push option in Mezmo, would be a great enhancement so I would think it had some more priority at you side?

Push features certainly does have priority on our development task list and we certainly listen to users feedback on what is important to them. We do have some other features that need to be completed first (e.g. new subtitling features) and then we will can develop features such as pushing media to devices. Thanks for your patience.

Sorry - we have not yet developed the push feature, since we have been very busy on other higher priority issues and improvements contained in Mezzmo v2.7. Push features are still on our development plans, but we do not have a definite release date as yet.

Perhaps a suggestion to consider whilst you are waiting for these features in Mezzmo: Push features are typically contained in DLNA digital media controllers (DMC) so you could use digital media controller app on your smartphone, tablet or PC. It would allow you to select the content from your Mezzmo media server and to stream it to your Marantz device.
