    Default Library Database Location

    Hi to all,

I am running the latest version of Mezzmo on my home server (Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition with SP2 and all current updates and patches). I was surprised (maybe horrified?) to find that the SQLite database is in the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Conceiva\Mezzmo". I would like to move it to (at least to me) a more logical location - one that is independent of the user's profile. I really wish to migrate my current database, as I have put a lot of work into it. What is the best way to do this?

Also, assuming that the database can be established in a shared location, would it be possible for family members to be able to access (and maybe edit) this database from their Windows XP laptops or desktops? If so, how? Will it require a separate Mezzmo install for each?

    All help appreciated. Thanks.

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

We don't have an automated way to move the database, but it's possible manually. Please open up a support ticket and we'll provide instructions on what to do.

Yes, you'll need a separate Mezzmo install on each PC that you want to be able to modify Mezzmo's library from.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide
