Please check that the device profile is still the same - are you using "Samsung BDP" or "Samsung BDP 3D"? Try the other one, to check whether that works or doesn't.

Also, the files could be transcoded and the device may disable skipping during that. Can you please right-click on the file in Mezzmo and post the output of the "Get FFmpeg Information" command?

ok Dennis, i switched the profile.. Samsung BDP 3d -- did not rewind or fast forward or skip ff
Sansung BDP -- did not rewind or fast forward of skip ff

This file will be transcoded using the "BDP" device profile, but it will be passed through using the "BDP 3D" one, so the latter should allow you to skip it, if the device supports it (sometimes the device may just disable skipping, based on certain encoding characteristics of a particular file).

Do you have Samsung's software installed? If you do, can you try this file using that and see if that lets you skip through it?

If the file plays properly (audio/video), I'd recommend using the "BDP 3D" device profile, so that it's not transcoded.

Downgrading is a possibility, but older versions are not supported and it's better to get this fixed using the current version, so that it's not an issue in the future as well.

ok i have tied all the above suggestions,, i can still not access any skip backward or skip forward controls.. which is odd because my early versions of mezzmo worked well with the skip forward and skip backward,, im not sure what else i can do to adress this but have no controls is not going to be a workable soultion,, i cant use mezzmo if i cant skip forward or backward,, i often watch a movie for an hr or so and then pick it up later,,

    kinda stuck at this point..

We'll need to see some logs to proceed then - please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then try playing that file for a few seconds. After that stop playback, zip up and send in the logs to support and we'll proceed via e-mail.

well here is a bit of a follow up i guess.. mkv will not FF RW or Skip F or Rew..
but AVI seems to allow for all samsung transport functions... i cannot roll back firm ware to when every thing worked great..
is it possible to force the MKV file to be transcoded to a AVI and thus allow for all transport functions... would i need to
    edit my profile or something.?

Yes, you'd need to edit the device profile manually to take out MKV support (thus MKVs will transcode to AVIs). However, transcoded AVIs may or may not let you FF either.

Did you try Samsung's PCSM with those MKV files?
