    Default Sony BDPS580 Stutters

I am using a Motorola Wireless N router, and a Sony BDPS580. When streaming it stutters, it does not do so when plugged into via USB to the Sony. I've tried several profiles, here is the ff report:

ffmpeg version N-33781-g35674a2, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers
    built on Oct 19 2011 10:31:16 with gcc 4.6.1
    configuration: --enable-memalign-hack --arch=x86 --target-os=mingw32 --cross-prefix=i686-w64-mingw32- --enable-static --disable-shared --enable-zlib --disable-postproc --prefix=/media/ffmpeg --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libx264 --enable-gpl --extra-libs='-lx264 -lpthread' --enable-runtime-cpudetect --extra-cflags=-I/home/dennis/cc/include --extra-ldflags=-L/home/dennis/cc/lib --pkg-config=pkg-config
    libavutil 51. 22. 0 / 51. 22. 0
    libavcodec 53. 21. 0 / 53. 21. 0
    libavformat 53. 16. 1 / 53. 16. 1
    libavdevice 53. 4. 0 / 53. 4. 0
    libavfilter 2. 44. 0 / 2. 44. 0
    libswscale 2. 1. 0 / 2. 1. 0

Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 59.94 (60000/1001) -> 59.94 (60000/1001)
    Input #0, mpegts, from 'C:\Users\Debbie_Larry\Videos\Canon_10_14_2011\Int ernal_Memory\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM\00000.mts':

That bitrate is possibly too high for a wireless network. Do you have a chance to connect the TV and your PC via a cable to test whether this will play without stuttering?

Another possibility is that the TV cannot handle that bitrate in this container at all. Please open a support ticket mentioning this thread and I'll send you a device profile to try, which will transcode such files into a lower bitrate.

If the TV can't handle it I would assume it wouldn't work from the USB stick either, I also suspect it's the wireless but I need to get a cable to test, which I'll do today. However, I'll open a ticket and I'd be willing to try a lower bitrate profile to see if that works. Thanks.

No, playing files from USB and via DLNA are two different things, so if a movie plays from USB, it doesn't mean it'll play when streamed (even if network throughput is fine).
