Thread: Photo scaling problem

    Default Photo scaling problem

    Hi,

I am using Mezzmo to downsize my jpeg photos, as my LG Blu-ray player BD390 obviously has some problems displaying huge photos. This works so far, but Mezzmo shrinks the photos too much, therefore the quality is suffering badly. Is there a way to adjust the transcoding of jpeg files?

    Thank you,

    Tankred

Yes, this can be adjusted manually by editing the device profile. Basically you need to set the preferredtranscoded="1" flag to be "0" in JPEG_MED and add it into the JPEG_LRG container. Update the "format" as well. If you need help on how to do this, let me know and I'll provide more detailed instructions.

Contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we'll supply you with a modified device profile. In your email, tell us what device profile you are presently using. Go to the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo to see this.
