    Default WDTV Live Hub and Mezzmo

    Hi,

    I am using Mezzmo with my WDTV Live Hub and have a question on setup.

    When I start my WDTV Live Hub, I get the options of Video, Music or Photos in the tabs along the bottom. When I select any of them I then get a folder list of "Video, Music and Photos" which relates directly to the setup I have in Mezzmo.
    How do I set it up so than when I select the Videos tab, I go straight into Videos and not get a list of the playlists in Mezzmo?

    Other than this, all works 100%. I just want to reduce the number of steps I have to take to watch a movie. Selecting Videos in the WDTV GUI and then again from the Mezzmo playlist is a bit stupid

    TIA
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

    Unfortunately the device doesn't tell Mezzmo which mode you are in, so Mezzmo cannot deliver contents for a specific mode to the WD.

    Just an update - Mezzmo v2.6.4 has been released and it now navigates directly to your video playlists and folders when you select Videos on your WD TV Live/Plus/Hub. Same for Music and Photos.

    Doesn't seem to work.. And it broke my whole setup.. Restoring old device profile fixes it.

    Yep. I had the same result. All my thumbnails are gone, both for the folders and the individual files. Don't know how to get it back to the way it was before...

    I thought I might chime in here. If you go to options then 'retrieve album information' there is an option 'use folder.jpg/folder.png for thumbnails' or something like that. If you untick it, it will ignore any image in the folder, however if you untick it, it will create thumbnails from all the videos you have. I also ran into this situation a few versions back.

    I hope this may help.

    I am getting the message "There is no media in the current folder" with 2.6.4, I was hoping for this fix, it would be great to have this working. (WD TV Live Plus HD)

    Same here. Got excited when I saw that the update added better DLNA support for WDTV Live and the direct navigation from the video tab. Downloaded the update and now I get no thumbnails on the device. They are there in the first level of sub folders but no other sub folders and none of the files in the folders.

    Video-->Movies-->Movie Category-->File

    Anything lower than that first level is gone, including the artwork that's saved to the library's metadata. It all showed up fine in 2.6.3, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall, but it says that I can't access the database from a newer version so I'm stuck.
