Default Problems playing to my Sony BD-370

Everything used to work without any problems while streaming files from Mezzmo to my Sony BD-370 up until about two weeks ago. I used to play mkv files between 4-12 GB without any issues but recently they will play anywhere from 5-10 minutes and then freeze for about a minute then go to the next movie in the folder.

I have searched the forums and support and supposedly had been fixed in 2.3.0 the issues that I saw people having were mostly from Feb 2011, I am currently on 2.4.5 which I have had since day one. I have tried all of the profiles for Sony BD but still have the same problems. The only solution that I have found that actually works fully is to convert my videos to MP4, which is a shame since I lose some quality and stream them through Windows Media Player which I bought Mezzmo for in the first place to avoid. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Can you tell us a few things:

    (i) what device profile you are using (go to Media Devices dialog to see this),
(ii) the FFmpeg information of one of the MKV files that freezes on you (right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information')
(iii) the current size & maximum size of your transcoding folder (go to the Transcoding Settings dialog to see this)
(iv) your computer's CPU type and how much RAM your computer has

Once we get this information, we will investigate further. Thanks.

I get the same results with all the profiles but the one I am currently using is the Sony BDP (NTSC, No Divx)

Transcoding folder is set to 80 GB, and was at about 10 GB of space, I can clear out the transcoding folder and get the same freezing.

Computer's CPU is an AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor 2.5 GHz
    8 GB Ram
    Windows 7 64-bit

Like I said in the post it used to work just fine during the trial and the first couple of weeks that I had it but recently it no longer works. My BD player has the latest firmware and has had it for about four weeks.

Thanks for the information. Please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging). Stop and start your Mezzmo media server. Then try streaming some the above files to your Sony BDP. After it fails, zip up and send in all the logs to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. We'll investigate it further for you.
