Default Fast forward support on Moxi, iPad?

    Hi

I was wondering if Mezzmo will support fast forward, rewind, or manual positioning for any media types on the Moxi DVR (I noticed a "device profile" was added) or iPad?

Or are those features only supported on the few consoles and TV's explicitly listed on some product features page?

    Thanks

Not being able to FF/REW or pause/resume on your DLNA device typically means that Mezzmo is transcoding the file you are playing into a compatible format (such as MPEG-4). Some DLNA devices do not allow FF/REW for a file that is currently transcoding, since the transcoding file size is changing all the time (i.e. the file is transcoding and growing in size) and some DLNA devices get confused by this. The fix for this is to transcode your file beforehand and then stream it. The new version of Mezzmo will let you pre-transcode your files so you can stream them without any of these problems. It will be available shortly and is free to all registered users.
