Default pause, fast forward, rewind not working

I have just installed the trial version of Messmo (v2.4.5.0)
    I am running it on a 64bit Win7 machine.
I am connecting to it with a Sharp Aquos Quattron via the built in wifi.
The problem I am having is that i am unable to pause, fast forward or rewind any of my content (have tried avi and mkv)
When using WMP as my server instead i can pause, fast forward and rewind (but am unable to play mkv files which is why i am trying Mezzmo)
If this problem can be resolved I am likely to purchase.
    Thanks

Most likely, you are using the "Sharp Aquos" device profile. Check this in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo. Using this device profile, Mezzmo will transcode your AVI and MKV files so they can be played on your Aquos TV. Whilst transcoding & streaming a file at the same time, your Aquos TV may not let you FF/REW or pause it, since it gets confused about the transcoding file (i.e. it is transcoding and growing in size, so you TV may get confused about size).

Try the "Sharp Aquos 2011" device profile - it may help with playing your AVI files.

The new version of Mezzmo will have a "pre-transcoding" feature that will let you transcode your files before you stream them. This will fix this FF/REW/pause issue. The new version will be released in the next 1-2 days and is a free upgrade for all registered users.

Yes, I am using the "Sharp Aquos" device profile, but there is no "Sharp Aquos 2011" device profile listed.
I will try the new version once it is available for download.

Just an update - Mezzmo v2.5 has been released and it includes the 'pre-transcoding' features that have been discussed in this thread.
