    You can still run Mezzmo as non-admin on XP - there's a special command line switch "/IgnoreOS" which will bypass the admin check on XP. See this post: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...ing-system-why

    Cool, thanks. As I understand it should allow non-admin account to run GUI at least until user does something that requires service restart, like device profile change. But what happens then? And I was right about other servers, 2003 suffers as well per that post.

    You cannot restart a Windows service under a limited account on XP (Server 2003 is older than Vista, so it is the same as XP in this regard) - I'd try running the Services Manager and restart it from there.
