I am not sure which is to credit, my fresh install of Windows 7 (stepping up from Vista) or the new version of Mezzmo (2.5.0.0). I have been experiencing incredible performance on my old quad core Q6600 in transcoding to a Sony BD player. I tend to think it's Mezzmo
