How about focusing on the Filename: field when the download dialog appears? When I choose to download a link via DS, I often need to change the filename to imbed the version of the program.

If you press the 'ALT' and 'F' keys when the dialog appears the focus will be shifted to the filename field.

I'd rather not even have to do that. Since that field is the one that you're most likely to change, is just seems logical to have focus moved to it when it appears. The tab order would remain unchanged though.
