I was just searching for a substitute for WindowsMediaPlayer sharing on my Server 2008 R2.
Unfortunately it's seems to be impossible to hack that sevice into Server 2008 manually.

My ripped CDs are all .flac with tags optimized for WMP12. (AlbumArtist, "COMPILATION"...)

What I found out about Mezzmo after installation:
- Scanning the music files is quite slow and I have hundreds of GB to scan
- Some AlbumArt pictures (folder.jpg) haven't been imported
I tried it again and again but Mezzmo just can't read some of my .jpg's
After another db deletion and reimport, only 30% of the AlbumArt was visible.
- AlbumArtist is not recognized by Mezzmo and WMP12 then splits every sampler into many single track albums
- And hundred more bugs I forgot yet

USELESS :-(

(and "NO, I DONT WANT TO SENT YOU FILES, BETA TESTING IS YOUR WORK, NOT MINE")
