Default Status tab spewing steaming messages - TV is off

Left the app running overnight. Just noticed on the status tab that it's reporting that it's streaming different videos to my TV. Seems to be the videos I watched yesterday. I just keeps displaying updates listing one video after another as being streamed to the TV. The TV has been off all night.

Must be a server problem. I closed and restarted the app and the status window just keeps displaying one title after another as being streamed to my TV that is still turned off.

Do you have logging turned on? If you do, it would be great to see the logs. Try restarting the server and see if that stops the status from being updated. If the status is still being displayed after the server is stopped, then I'd like to get a copy of your database files to check what's going on.

Diagnostic logging is the only option I could find, it is not on. Stopping and restarting the server corrected the problem - for now. I'll pay closer attention and see if it happens every time I start playing something or only sometimes.

This is still a problem. Is there a way to disable the status window? I tried closing it, but behind the scenes it's still going.

A workaround would be an automated way to have the server restart every day at a specified time. Is this possible?

Lately the server had been running for weeks, no client running. Noticed the TV would go into the please wait mode while streaming some files. Opened the client, opened the status tab, messages were spewing by. Stopped/started the server. The messages stopped and the TV streams even the highest bit rate with no problem.

Again, these messages about streaming repeatedly listed everything I'd streamed recently. Even with no TV or other device powered on. Plus, I monitor all network throughput and it was at zero. So I know nothing was streaming.

The key to reproducing this would be to leave the server running for a week and stream a handful of items each day.

We have fixed one issue where files get listed repeatedly in the Status pane and this fix is included in the upcoming Mezzmo v2.6 release due this week. I would like you to install this new release when it becomes available and see if it is better. If no better, then please do let us know immediately and we'll find and fix your problem.
