Default Migrating Mezzmo to new server

    Hi

i'm upgrading my server to Windows Server 2008 R2 and want to keep all my Mezzmo settings etc.

once i install Mezzmo on my new server, can i copy over certain files/folders in order to keep the settings?
i'm not too fussed about the database, i can rebuild that without any hassles. I just want to keep the interface settings, transcode settings etc.

    cheers

    Gus

    Hi Gus,

Some settings are stored in the registry (e.g. GUI layout) and some are stored in the MezzmoMediaServer.ini file located in the folder with the .db files. You can export and import registry settings to keep the layout and replace new .ini with the old one (provided all your folder structure stays the same, or edit as needed). Basically these are the only two places where any settings are stored.
