    Default External subtitle not working...

    Hi,

External subtitles (.srt) are no longer showing since the last couple of mezzmo updates.

    Samsung PS58C7000
    Mezzmo 2.5.0.0 (Samsung C) profile.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

They should still work as before, but the biggest change is that if you drop a subtitle file into a folder with the video that is already in Mezzmo's library, you need to maintain that folder in order for Mezzmo to pick up that file. Before Mezzmo would pick them up in real-time, but this proved to be too slow in some circumstances.

    Hi Dennis,

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I ran "Maintain Library" and that made external subtitles work again. I wasn't aware that Mezzmo didn’t pick up the subtitles in real-time. I must have been doing "Maintain Library" more frequently when I was watching movies with subtitles a while back.
    Thanks for the help.

It's mentioned that you need to run maintenance, but not prominently enough - I agree This behaviour was introduced in 2.4.2.
