    Default TV series with only one subfolder - jump straight to subfolder

    Gents,

    I have tv programs in the following folder format:
    Series Name
    - Season 1
    -- S01E01 etc
    - Season 2
    -- S02E01 etc

    Now, for some series I have there may only be 1 season folder - so the series folder only contains one subfolder and various metadata files.

    Is there an option we can enable that when the series is selected and there is only one subfolder and no other video files that the server skips directly to the season subfolder?

    Ie instead of navigating:
    Series -> Season 1 -> S01 episodes

    we go
    Series -> S01 episodes

    There is no such option at the moment. The tricky bit here is that when we deliver the contents of "Series" folder, we have to tell the device how many children it has (files/folders), so in order to accomplish this, we'd actually have to go one level deeper (into "Season 1") to check what it contains and based on that create the description for the "Series" folder. This may prove to be too time-consuming (especially with folders on a NAS) and the devices may time out.

    Makes sense!

    Looks like I'll have to wrestle with my media metadata program to change it's ways!
