Can you please tell me which device profile you are using? Based on the TV's format support, I'd recommend "Panasonic Viera (2011 models)". If you select a profile that has "No DivX" or "NTSC", then AVIs will be transcoded and this will lose subtitle support.

    Hi,

I don't recall exactly what profile it has, however i know that the profile was "generated" automatically, I didn't choose one for the tv.

but , just to clear me out, external subtitles working or not, are related exclusively with tv right? (i mean those that work fine on pc but not on tv)

Later today i'll try to share some more info with you, it's just that i have an avi file that runs the subtitles and other that doesn't...

    Best regards
    Ricardo

Mezzmo finds your external subtitle files alongside your video files and presents them to your TV when you connect to Mezzmo and browse your folders/playlists. It is then up to your TV to request the external subtitle from Mezzmo if it wants it. So, your TV's firmware ultimately decides what subtitles it can play. Mezzmo just presents them to your TV and delivers them when requested.

To check your device profile, go to the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo. As Dennis mentioned, we recommend that you set it to 'Panasonic Viera (2011 models)'. Then try to connect to Mezzmo from your TV and stream your movies.

Unfortunately, yes. Panasonic Viera TVs only seem to display external subtitles for DivX (AVI) files.
