Subtitles and Dual Audio

good morning

SUBTITLES
I am able to see any type of file, however I'm not able to see subtitles in all movies... only in some of them... is there somewhere in the definitions I should change?

other thing, is it possible to change subtitles font and size with mezzmo?

DUAL AUDIO
other thing is the dual audio... i have movies with dual audio capabilities... but it doesn't let me chose which one i want... it only loads the first. Again, is there somewhere in the defenitions I should change?

At the moment Mezzmo only supports sending external (.srt/.smi) files to devices that support them, thus any font/size changes would need to be supported by your device.

Dual audio is planned in a future version, but at the moment Mezzmo only reads in the first audio stream.

Regarding the subtitles, my tv suports those types of subtitles.. but there are some movies that it doesn't recognize them...

for example... my tv suports mp4 and srt

i start that mp4 (therock.mp4 | therock.srt exactly same name) but it says "no subtitles"

it happens in some mkv also... but only in few of them?

do you know what can cause this? can it be that those files have properties that block the subtitles? :S

Possible reasons could be:

• You may have placed the subtitle file (.SRT) into the folder after adding the video file into Mezzmo. In this case, right-click on the playlist/folder in the tree in Mezzmo and click Maintain Playlist. That will allow Mezzmo to pick up the subtitle file. Try streaming again and see if that works.
• The subtitle file may be corrupted in such a way that your TV refuses to or is unable to to display it. As a test, rename a subtitle file that you know works to the same name as the one that does not display and see if that works. If it does, then you know the subtitle file is at fault & you will need to download another one or create another one.

If none of that helps, then we will need to see a set of logs to see how the TV is communicating with Mezzmo media server with regards that subtitle file. Please enable logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then try playing that video file. After you see no subtitles, stop your Mezzmo server, zip up the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

I just read this part now. Some of the files i mentioned may not be "maintained" already... but some are.
However if you could please take a look at the information of the files tell me if there is some limitation.

Your files looks fine - although the SRT files could be corrupted so that your DLNA device cannot display them (I cannot tell from just the filename). Its best if you send us a set of logs. We mention how to do this in a previous post on this thread. After we get your logs, we may know more about why the subtitles are not appearing. Also, please tell us what DLNA device you are streaming to.

I'm streaming to a Panasonic P42G30E (Viera TV) G30

All the files run... it's just the subtitles that (some of them) appear "Doesn't exist"

OK - your TV model helps us understand what may be happening. Panasonic Viera TVs only display external subtitles for DivX (AVI) files. That will explain why you see them for some files (presumably your DivX/AVI files) and not for other files. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about this - its a Viera firmware issue.

that's strange.. because i already could see mkv files with srt subtitles from disk to tv without mezzmo
