    Default Update codecs

    Hello

I saw this page and wanted to know how can we update codecs to the latest.
    how does it work?
we just donwload the .gz file and extract the .tar file into mezzmo folder?
is there a .exe we have to run?
we just wait for the mezzmo updates and it updates all?

    how does it work?

The FFmpeg bundled with Mezzmo is the latest at the time of release, so that page actually shows older versions.

Mezzmo does not use any codecs, but only a stand-alone FFmpeg executable for transcoding, so to update it, just replace "ffmpeg.exe" in Mezzmo's installation folder. Please note that FFmpeg sometimes change their command lines, so if you replace our bundled one with something else, it may not work or may not support all codecs required by your device.
