    Default mkv wont play samsung d7000

    Hi guys

    I have encoded an mkv of avatar to test out a few megui profiles anyways the resulting mkv works fine on pc fine but when i use mezzmo to the tv ffmpeg says failed in the gui but i cant get the info as that option is greyed out. All other mkv's and files work flawlessly.

    some details
    using mezzmo 2.5
    samsung D profile
    latest build ffmpeg installed to the directory

    Heres also the megui settings i used

    program --level 4.1 --pass 2 --bitrate 5506 --stats ".stats" --deblock -1:-1 --b-adapt 2 --ref 4 --qpmin 10 --qpmax 51 --vbv-bufsize 50000 --vbv-maxrate 50000 --me umh --direct auto --subme 6 --trellis 2 --output "output" "input"

    Any ides why it would fail and the tv say file format not supported

    Thanks

    Keith

    Can you put back the build of ffmpeg.exe that came with Mezzmo v2.5 back into the Mezzmo program folder? The ffmpeg commandline has changed recently so the latest build will not perform correctly with Mezzmo v2.5 (The latest build of ffmpeg will be included in the upcoming Mezzmo release that we're working on now - due in 1-2 weeks). Try now and see how it goes.

    If no better, then please post the FFmpeg information for the MKV file you created. To do this, right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

    Thanks for the FFmpeg information. You mention that ffmpeg is failing. I would like to see a log & that will tell us why it is failing. So please turn on logging (http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and re-start your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo from your TV and start playing the MKV. Once it fails, then stop your Mezzmo media server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

    We're aiming for next 1-2 weeks. Just finalizing a few issues from customer reports.

    The ffmpeg.exe that comes with Mezzmo v2.5 is the best one, as we've tested it and know it works well.
