Thread: Very Slow Navigation

    Default Very Slow Navigation

I am having trouble with the navigating Mezzmo on all of my devices due to it being too slow. example - Twonky will display a folder in ~1 second on my PS3, the same folder on Mezzmo takes 5-10 seconds then stops and carrys on loading during scrolling.

I have set the PS3 to WIFI and set the correct Network Card in Mezzmo with no luck.

It is not just the PS3, I have several devices with several connection types (Direct network, wifi, homeplug) and I have set them all correctly in the Mezzmo Media Device Settings but navigation is just far too slow for me. I am not using a powerfull machine (p4 1ghz, 1024mb) but I twonky runs 100% on it.

I am sad to say I have had to go back to Twonky for the moment...

Mezzmo should not be slow to navigate and it is not normal operation for PS3 users. Please turn on logging (http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and re-start your Mezzmo server. Then using your PS3, connect to Mezzmo and browse a playlist that is slow. After it fully displays the playlist, stop your Mezzmo server, then zip up all the logs and send them to support [at] conceiva [dot] com for analysis.
