Thread: Streaming throughput

    Default Streaming throughput

Hi. It would be nice if you add somewhere in the program (maybe in the server status) an option to see the current throughput when streaming a movie.

This would be a great way of benchmarking a wifi network to find possible bottlenecks. Or just to know how much bandwidth is being consumed by the stream.

    What do you think?

You can get that info by bringing up the task manager. (Right click the task bar or ctrl-alt-del then select start task manager.) It will be under Performance then click on Resource Monitor and select the Network tab.

Thanks for your suggestion. As JohnM points out, Task Manager's Network tab is the usual way to gauge if your network is reaching maximum bandwidth. We'll certainly consider your idea & see if it is possible within Mezzmo.
