    Default PS3 Media Control

I just downloaded the 15day trial for Mezzmo. It's installed on Vista 64 bit and all my media files are single .vob burned from my dvd collection. I can stream the video's to the DLNA player on PS3 however media controls don't work properly. Rewind simply freezes the stream (I can hit play an resume). Fast forward seems to work erratically, sometimes I can forward 1.5 speed for a small bit. But then is resumes play back at the point I started the FF.

I was using Serviio that also has this problem so I was hoping Mezzmo would have better support for this.

Any idea how to get media controls working in this environment. I would really hate to have to encode my library from .vob to something else

Will purchase if you can fix !!

First thing to try is to check you device profile in Mezzmo. Go to the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo and make sure your device profile for your PS3 is set to one of the 'Sony Playstation 3' device profiles. Try each of them and see if any work better with streaming your files.

If no success, then send us a set of logs and we'll investigate what's happening. Please turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Then, using your PS3, connect to Mezzmo and stream one of your files to re-create the problem you mention. Once it fails, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
