    Default Mezzmo v2.6.1

Hi Guys, I'm a big fan of Mezzmo, well 2.5 that is. Upgraded to 2.6 and then 2.6.1 and I'm now wondering what has gone wrong it is so slow. When I click on my folders after adding a new music file it takes absolutley ages for Mezzmo to update. Can I go back to 2.5?

Agree with you Colin - Very slow especially library maintenance and maintaining playlists. i thought it was the transition from 2.5 to 2.6 but have let it run to completion each time but still not any quicker

Mezzmo's great but I am off to find 2.5 and will try and restore that version. Suspect that I will have to re-create the databse in the background but will be backing that up before starting.

I too am having problems running Mezzmo v2.61 on 2 PC's both are Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate & Enterprise editions) One is Quad Core Intel and other is dual core. Not only is Mezzmo a little slower, but the server keeps crashing on both PC's - I did not have this problem with V2.5. I have just emailed in five log files from the two PC's so hopefully Conceiva will get to the bottom of these troubles soon.

I have not rolled back to v2.5 at this stage, but will probably do so if the problems are not fixed soon. You would think with all the testing that Conceiva did on v.2.6 and the delays in its roll-out that this latest version would have been stable, but I guess there are so many different types of PC configuration that you cannot get it right for everyone... Just my luck to be one of the unlucky ones ... oh well no doubt they will resolve the issues soon.

    Default Mezzmo 2.6.1 Performance

I have to say that I'm finding the responsiveness of Mezzmo 2.6.1 to be a great improvement over 2.5.
With 2.5 I was finding that if I wanted to apply a change to say more than 2 or 3 files at a time e.g. Genre then it could take anywhere up to 60s to complete. With 2.6.1 the equivalent change is complete in a split second.

Now this may be explained by the fact that there is less data in my current database compared to 2.5 e.g. I have not added Music to the DB yet (20k tracks) or Photos. Also the Video meta data tha has been loaded is far from complete as I have raised an issue elsewhere in that it 2.6 failed to read WDTV meta data/TGMD files.

Also I should point out that this is a clean install of Mezzmo and not an upgrade from 2.5

Any information that helps sort out the issues that others are having can only be to the good....
