Default No longer recognizes m2ts files

When I try to play M2TS files through Mezzmo on my WD TV Live Plus device, Mezzmo doesn't recognize the M2TS extension and just shows the file names without the extension. When I try to play them, it gives me an unrecognized format error.

When I switch my WD TV Live Plus to use a network share, it'll play the M2TS files just fine. Any idea what is wrong? I believe they stopped working after 1 of my automatic Mezzmo software upgrades. I upgraded this morning to the latest version just to be sure and the problem is the same with the current version. Any thoughts?

Please try this: In Mezzmo, stop your Mezzmo server. Go to the Media Devices dialog and delete all devices. Start you Mezzmo server and your devices will be auto-detected by Mezzmo (assuming they are turned on). Go back to Media Devices dialog and make sure your WD TV Live that is listed there is using the 'WD TV Live' device profile. Try streaming and let us know how you go now.

That worked, although it's unwatchable and problematic. I'll fire up a couple other media server apps and see if they do the same, to determine if it's Mezzmo or the WD TV Live Plus.

So my powers of observation seem to have really declined in my advancing years. Although I swore I checked the profile setting, when I was playing around with it this morning I noticed the WD TV's were set to the 1st Gen product. Once I switched them to the WD TV Live Plus, it worked fine. Thanks for the help and sorry for the ball-droppage on my part.

Here's the latest - it was kind of squirrelly even though I set both WD's to the Live Plus (1 worked fine, 1 didn't work and behaved in the same manner I started this thread). I stopped the server, deleted both devices, restarted and they both came back with the 1st Gen profile. I stopped the server, changed the profiles, restarted and now both are back in working order. Took me a few permutations to get the sequence that got the second one to work (this was just the reader's digest version).

Ok - now it doesn't play dvr-ms files. It doesn't recognize that format, yet M2TS files are working beautifully. I tried playing the dvr-ms files on another media server app and it worked fine, so something with Mezzmo seems amiss. Any ideas?

Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Try streaming the file again to your WD Live Plus. Once it fails, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Also, send us the FFmpeg information on the file (right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information').

I turned the logging on and then tried playing a dvr-ms file; you should have the log files - let me know if you didn't get them.
