Default Automatic Commercial Skipping - What's doing it?

    I have the following gear:

    - Mezzmo
    - Samsung BD D5300
    - Panasonic G20

I downloaded a Youtube HD file and streamed it to my TV using Mezzmo and my BD D5300. At the sigh of commercials, it skips them automatically.

I'm wondering who's the one doing it, is it Mezzmo? My Samsung? Or my TV?

Not sure - certainly not Mezzmo Are you sure that the video you downloaded has the commercials? Perhaps play the downloaded video on your computer using some media player software (WMP, VLC, etc.) just to check.

I think I just figured it out...

Here's the link (I had downloaded it locally and was streaming it):

You can see a different timeline appear near the beginning. I think it's the person's PVR/Set top box that is doing the fast forwarding.

That would make sense. Many PVRs can do this.
