Default Is clean install possible, adding a deleted device

    Hello,

Using Mezzmo 2.6.3 on my Intel I5 machine, with my Panasonic Viera 2010 model, with the Viera profile.

My Mezzmo started acting up lately, giving me a lot of "file not supported" on files that used to work fine. So i decided to uninstall, and reinstal again, in hope of getting a clean install.

But after the reinstall, everything was as is. All the settings, folder etc. in place. So, i tried deleting my Panasonic Viera TV from the "Devices" dialog for re-adding it, as a workaround, and that's simply not possible. The TV is now nowhere to be seen. Restated Mezzmo, the server, th TV etc. The device is not seen in Mezzmo, and if i try to connect to the Mezzmo server from my TV, i get the message "unable to connect". So:

    1. How do i readd my device in Mezzmo ?
    2. How do i do aclean install (where EVERYTHING is deleted, profiles, settings, etc.)

    TIA.

The readd device problem solved. Suddenly my device was visible again. Still interested in the clean install method though..

BTW, getting "file not supported" on this one.

To me, seem to be a normal xvid encoded file, that should be supported on my TV natively:

When you uninstall Mezzmo and uncheck the 'Keep my Mezzmo library' checkbox in the uninstaller, then all traces of Mezzmo should be removed from your computer.

With regards the AVI playback problems, please send us as set of logs so we can determine what may be the problem. Please enable logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the video file that works to your TV. When it starts playing properly, then stop playing it and then play the video file that does not work. When it fails to play, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
