Default Which DLNA Client (Xbox 360/Samsung TV/Hopper)?

I am interested in setting up a DLNA server for the occasional viewing of random PC content on my Samsung TV (LN46D630).

While the server is obviously important I have heard that what you get out of DLNA varies a lot based on what the client is too. I have the TV, a Xbox 360 and the Dish Network Hopper available as DLNA complient devices.

Any guesses which of those will be the most robust for playing Mezzmo transcoded content? I suspect it will be the TV but I'll have to drop some money on a WiFi card for it.

I tried the Hopper once, but was kind of bummed at no FF/RWD or Pause/Resume ability. I think that was a Hopper limitation, and not the server. I'd rather not fool with setting up DLNA clients that aren't worth the effort.

    Thanks for any help!

All 3 devices can be used as a DLNA client device. My personal preference would order them from best to worst as Samsung D-series TV, then Xbox 360 and then Dish Network Hopper. In addition, you will get the best results using Ethernet cables instead wireless - especially if you are planning to stream 1080 HD video. Wireless can struggle with the high bandwidth, and can sometimes result in stuttering during playback. If Ethernet cables are not possible, then go with wireless-N with full signal strength.
