I am interested in setting up a DLNA server for the occasional viewing of random PC content on my Samsung TV (LN46D630).

While the server is obviously important I have heard that what you get out of DLNA varies a lot based on what the client is too. I have the TV, a Xbox 360 and the Dish Network Hopper available as DLNA complient devices.

Any guesses which of those will be the most robust for playing Mezzmo transcoded content? I suspect it will be the TV but I'll have to drop some money on a WiFi card for it.

I tried the Hopper once, but was kind of bummed at no FF/RWD or Pause/Resume ability. I think that was a Hopper limitation, and not the server. I'd rather not fool with setting up DLNA clients that aren't worth the effort.

Thanks for any help!
