Default Active playlists & german translation

Since in last few versions active playlists hadnt been changed I wanted to ask whether you could add the options to sort the content by first letter and to exclude paths like in smart playlists.

Also I wanted to ask if I could tell you some translation corrections for the german version.
There are some minor mistranslation but specially in the Dialogue for smart playlists it is confusing to choose between "Alle" and "Jede" which means both "every".
In this case "Alle" should be translated with "Jede" (every rule hast to be true) and "Jede" with "Eine" (only one of the rules has to be true).

    Here is a screenshot:

Many thanks for the German translations. We'll fix that up for the next Mezzmo release. If you find any further problems with the German language in Mezzmo, just send through any suggested changes, and we'll update the German language file.

I wanted to ask whether you could add the options to sort the content by first letter and to exclude paths like in smart playlists.
Do you mean having a rolodex style folders structure like this?

    Artist
    A
    Abba
    B
    Bob Dylan
    Beyonce
    D
    Def Leppard
    M
    Madonna

If yes, then we are planning to have this automatically created as an option for active playlists. It should be included in a future version of Mezzmo. If I have misunderstood your request, can you give us an example?

(Using the current version of Mezzmo, we do have an FAQ that lets you create rolodex style playlists based on smart playlists - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...ists-in-Mezzmo)

Yes, thats exactly what I meant and I had that idea to solve it with smart playlists too, but since my content changes frequently there would be often empty folders and the other way its much more comfortable.

The other option I talked about is to exclude Folders from active playlists, here is an example:
I have two folders, one contains all my movies and the other all my series with subfolders for each of them.
Now if I create a smart playlist that sorts all video files by year (or first letter in future) to be able to quickly navigate through my movies, the order is messed up for all years that contains still a large amount of series-video files.

About the translation: is it possible to change interface language to english? In some cases I really have to guess what the original formulation is.

Understand. As mentioned, we're planning to have this in a future version.

Understand. We'll look this as well.

In Mezzmo, click on the View -> Languages menu item to change the display language of Mezzmo.

    Default Translation

Here are some suggestions for the german translation, I wrote them on screenshots. This are mostly minor grammatical mistakes and I just want to check if its practical for you this way and whether you want more suggestions like that at all or if you are only interested in passages that are difficult to understand.

Thanks for the fixes for the German translation! It is much appreciated. We are preparing a new version of Mezzmo right now and I'll make sure these edits are included.

You are welcome to send us anymore fixes to the German translation that you find. You can either include them on screenshots as you have done, or you can just place them in a text file and we'll find them in the German language text file.

The german translations for the setting which I referred to in the first post are still not right, now they are switched.
"Eine" should be "Jede", and "Jede" should be "Eine"
